Back during the CES 2010, Samsung has announced its partnership with Technicolor and Dreamwork Studios to come up with a series of 3D HDTVs. Well now, it looks like they’re as well planning to bring the same technology in a cellular phone as leaked information about a certain Samsung SCH-W960 has surfaced.

This Samsung SCH-W960 will have 3.3-inch WQVGA 3D AMOLED touchscreen display, so just imagine how innovative and modern the screen of this device is. Other features are also said to include 3-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, DNSe 2.0 capability, DivX support, and dual DMB, operating on both satellite and terrestrial transmissions. It is also said that this device will…

We’ve already heard about the Samsung SPH-W9500 back in December of 2009 when it was spotted at a certain Korean shopping site, and now, Samsung has finally launched this device in South Korea as the Samsung SPH-W9500 Clutch.

It is said that this device has such a name since it indeed resembles to clutch bags. Obviously, this is a very feminine phone that seems to resemble the Samsung Diva S7070 with its diamond quilted design on the back, but then again, there’s no word if this is also part of the Diva collection or not. But anyway, unlike the entry-level S7070, this W9500 will come as a mid-end phone.

This will have…

It was back in October of last year when US Cellular got a hold of the Samsung Caliber; and it’s never too late for other carriers to have this device as well. Take for example MetroPCS as they’ve just released the Samsung Caliber R860, which is actually believed to be their first Samsung touchscreen phone.

There’s actually nothing so notable about its features if compared to monsters like the Droid or iPhone, but at least MetroPCS customers would have an array of choices for mobile phones.

This is just a mid-level device with features that include 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, TouchWiz UI, 3-megapixel camera with flash, GPS with MetroNavigator, full HTML browser,…

After the Samsung Monte S5620 has been officially announced at the MWC 2010, Samsung has as well announced two more devices that are part of the Monte series: the Samsung Monte Slider E2550 and the Samsung Monte Bar C3200. Unlike the S5620, we know has interesting high-end features, these two new devices are obviously just basic handsets.

Looking at these devices already tells that this won’t have much interesting or rather ground-breaking features as compared to the first Monte device, which is the S5620; yet this should appeal to those who are just actually looking for something that can function as a simple mobile phone.

The Samsung Monte Slider E2550 is indeed…

Why can’t just mobile carriers around the world stick to just one common name for a certain handset? Take for example the Samsung CorbyPro B5310. It is called as such in other parts of the world except in UK, where it will be called the Samsung Genio.

Before this, Vodafone UK also released the Genio version of the Corby S3650 and the Genio QWERTY or the CorbyTXT B3210. Confusing? Well, yes it is.   Anyway, the Samsung Genio, just like the other Corby phones, is targeted among those who are price-conscious. But though this will be an affordable device, it does have interesting features to show off.

This will have a slide-out QWERTY…

Samsung is planning on releasing another mobile phone for the Indian market. It isn’t another of those Corby devices, but rather, this handset is a low-to-mid end one. That being said, you know this won’t topple the modern devices we have today— those that have groundbreaking features.

This thin slider phone only has 2.1-inch screen, 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash, FM radio with RDS, quad-band GSM connectivity, Bluetooth, media player, office documents viewer, fake call, and 50MB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 8GB. A 1GB memory card is also available when it ships. This is just 10.9mm thin, and it shouldn’t be surprising since Samsung has history with…
