If designer clothing, including bags and shoes, has most of its ad campaign done by celebrities, mobile phones too can as well be modeled by stars. Take for example what LG has in mind. They teamed up with fashionably sophisticated women Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria Parker to promote two of its stylish touchscreen mobile phones.

These phones are actually the LG Lotus Elite and the LG Rumor Touch, which have both been announced since January of this year. The ad campaign is actually called the LG Fashion Touch, and it is said to promote “personal style and the idea that mobile phones have become the latest in fashion communication.”

What is believed to be as the LG Swift GT540 will actually come out as the LG Optimus GT540 as the company recently announced it. We’ve first seen this device in January at the CES 2010, and now LG has officially announced it in UK as the Optimus.

LG’s Cookie device has been one of their best-selling devices, so LG has probably thought that it’s time to give it a successor. The manufacturer has then announced the coming of the LG Cookie Plus GS500, which is presented as being “sociable, enjoyable, and affordable.”

While Samsung is enjoying the market with their Corby phone series, which we know includes a lineup of devices that is catered for younger generation with penchant for social networking and other media features, LG has probably thought to compete with it as they’ve decided to come up with the LG Clubby KM555E.

It was in September when we first heard about the LG GW620; and back in November was when Rogers Wireless announced it for Canada. Now, the company’s first Android device is set to be launched in UK, this time under the name LG InTouch Max GW620.

LG GT540 Swift Android Smartphone Announced at CES 2010

LG has unveiled their third Android-powered smartphone at the CES 2010, which will be called the LG GT540 Swift. This comes third after the GW620 and the China-bound GW880, which were revealed in November last year.

This actually comes as just a low-to-mid-end Android device with interesting design. This has round edges with metal-like trimming on the corners, which makes this look a lot appealing. Features then include 240 x 400 pixels touchscreen display, 3-megapixel camera with autofocus and face tracking, DivX support, music and video player, 3.5mm headset jack, HSDPA connectivity, and a microSD card expansion.

LG has just announced a new handset in Korea, which is the LG Pastel SU410. This is just a simple clamshell device with design that is sure to attract a lot of fashionable individuals. This is also said to come as a holiday phone, perhaps as a Christmas gift for your special someone.

LG GD510 Pop A Simple and Compact Touchscreen

Perhaps LG would like to continue with the success of the LG Cookie, which sold more than seven million units now, for the reason that they designed another simple touch-screen handset, named the LG GD510 Pop.

They actually presented it in their Press Release as the “most compact 3-inch full touchscreen phone ever made.” It is crafted from brushed aluminum with only a single button on the front, which is believed to glow in green and in red either to call or to hang-up. There also seems to be a solar panel at the back, but LG didn’t talk about it in the press release.

We’ve first seen it back in July as the LG BL42, and now, a promo video of the said phone appeared along with its new name, which is the LG New Chocolate BL20. It kind of looks as slim as the BL40, though this particular device won’t come with a touch-screen display.
