Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Just right after the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 was announced for NTT DoCoMo in Japan, it is now said that the Android smartphone will also be making its way to China. Sony Ericsson CEO Bert Nordberg said that they have no plans to delay their first ever Android smartphone in China, which is contrary to what Google has done with Motorola and Samsung Android devices.

Google has just delayed the Motorola and Samsung Android devices that are set to release in China “due to an ongoing friction between Google and the government (in China)”. It is then believed that right after this Xperia X10 is released in Japan on April, China will follow shortly.

If you’re still not familiar with this Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, this will have Snapdragon CPU, 4-inch of WVGA touchscreen display, 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS navigation, 3.5mm headset jack, and a microSD card slot. We’re not sure what other features might be added in case it will indeed be released in China by some carrier.

Let’s see how this goes after its release in Japan.
