Japan’s largest mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo, has just announced the addition of its very own version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to its lineup. But instead of calling it in its original name, their version will simply be called as the Docomo Smartphone Xperia.
This will most likely have the same features as with Sony Ericsson’s own Xperia X10, though it will only have more RAM of 384MB plus the addition of the POBox Touch 1.0, which is a predictive text input system for Japanese and English. This will also have Docomo’s HSPA network that provides 2.0Mbps upload and 7.2Mbps download speeds.
So aside from that and from being an Android device, other features then include 4-inch WVGA 854 x 480 touchscreen display, 8-megapixel autofocus camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, Google Maps, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, Timescape and Mediascape, 3.5mm headset jack, 1GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot.
This DoCoMo Smartphone Xperia is set to hit Japan market this April in Sensuous Black and Luster White.
