I don’t know what Sony Ericsson was thinking when they created this strange-looking walkman phone, although it does have some cool features and others of an entry-level device.
Well, together with Japanese carrier KDDI, this phone is a mini music slider phone that measures only about 75 x 44 x 18mm. Without opening the phone, you might mistake it as just an ordinary walkman or MP3 player with its music transport buttons. Sliding it will reveal the alphanumeric keypad which would probably be suitable for a kid’s hand size.
Other than that, this phone holds entry level features such as 1.8-inch TFT QVGA display of 240 x 320 pixels, Bluetooth and 4GB on-board memory. It is also compatible with KDDI’s LISMO Video service for streaming movies and TV, and EZ ‘Chaku Uta’ for music downloads.
If you like this unusual mini phone, you can buy it by the end of December, but the price remains undisclosed.
