Virgin Mobile Canada is said to release the LG Rumour 2 and the Samsung Vice.
We’ve learned that the LG Rumour 2 has been around the web since March, and it was already announced for Sprint and Alltel, and just recently, for Bell Mobility as well; while the Samsung Vice, which we’ve heard back in April, is said to hit Bell Mobility. We’re not sure if these devices are already available under the said carriers, but the thing is Virgin Mobile will be releasing both handsets.
The LG Rumour 2 is believed to be a messaging-oriented device since it has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and an alphanumeric keypad. This will also have 2-inch 240 x 320 pixels display, 1.3-megapixel camera, MP3 player, Bluetooth, GPS, and an expandable memory up to 12GB.
The Samsung Vice also comes in the same form factor with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and alphanumeric keypad. This comes complete with 2-megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth, GPS, support for social networking, and an expandable memory up to 8GB.
Virgin Mobile Canada will offer the LG Rumour 2 for $49.99 on a three-year contract, $99.99 on a two-year contract, $129.99 on one-year, and prepaid for $129.99; while the Samsung Vice will be offered for about $79.99 on three-year contract, $129.99 on two-year contract, $149.99 on one-year or for prepaid option.
