Samsung S3500 and S3110

The Samsung S3500 and S3110 are two new mid-level devices that were introduced at the MWC 2009. We have already featured the S3500 a few weeks ago, and this time, everything has been made official with that announcement.

The S3500 is a slider phone with 2.2-inch TFT, QVGA resolution of 16M color LCD display and has a 2-megapixel camera with digital image stabilization, panorama shot and video recording capability, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and music and video playback. It also supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks and will have an expandable microSD card slot to up to 16GB.

The S3110, however, is a candybar phone that will have a much smaller screen of only 2-inch with256k colors and 220 x 176 pixels resolution. This will as well have a 1.3-megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth, FM Radio, music and video player, document viewer, and complete with a microSD card slot.

These are indeed a decent phone for those who are on a budget since the design looks very modern as well. There’s no word yet regarding the prices and release date, although it is said to come real soon.
