  4. adam says:

when you figure out what software is needed can you let me know a_leroy@live.com

  5. adam says:

im gonna keep looking in the meantime and will post ion here if i find it

  6. Craig says:

You don’t need any software. When that screen comes up on your computer just cancel out of it. Once you plug in the phone to the computer using the usb cord, then press menu “0″, “5″, “1″. Then you will be able to use the phone just as you would a digital camera by accesing the drive through windows explorer.

  7. billie says:

does it work if you don’t have a memory card?

  8. mian says:

how exactly do you put the memory into the phone… it says something about bottom right yet i cant see anywere you would put a SD card in..

  9. Doublet says:

Mian, Turn your mobile over, and on the top ridge of the phone there should be a black button. Press this button in, and then pop off the back case of the phone. It might feel like it will break off but it will not. Snap that off, in order to gain access to the battery pack, as well as your microSD card slot in the bottom right.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers.

i’ve had the slyde for about a year now. and it’s been pretty good to me but lately it has been just randomly shutting off.
i went to telus and he said to just download the new software for it, however i cannot seem to find it most links just take me to Q&A boards and such, i did try doing the update from my phone itself but it keeps telling me “server communication faild.unable to continue the software update”
    anyone have any ideas?
