Samsung will be the first to get the Bluetooth 3.0 as Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) posted it on a filing regarding a certain Samsung GT-S8500. We don’t have photos available yet about the device, but they said that the design concept will be “compact and slim.”

All specs and features are courtesy of Bluetooth SIG, and this includes 3.1-inch OLED touchscreen display with TouchWIZ UI and anti-reflective and High Resolution. This Samsung GT-S8500 is also expected to have support for EDGE/GPRS quad-band connectivity. The Bluetooth 3.0 specification is also said to be capable of 24Mbps transfer speed and will have a more frugal power usage.

Bluetooth SIG also said it will be available in various color versions, but we still have no word yet on when this Samsung GT-S8500 will be released. Perhaps we might even see this at the MWC 2010, eh?
