Remember the Samsung Corby Folder that we’ve spotted back in January? Well it has not yet been officially announced, though it can already be seen on Samsung’s Korean website, which makes it semi-official. With the success of Samsung’s Corby line up, we shouldn’t be surprised seeing more Corby family members in the coming days.
As what its name suggests, this Samsung Corby Folder is indeed a clamshell type of mid to low-end phone. It has a small external LED display, and inside comes 2.6-inch QVGA internal display. This is obviously a stylishly-designed phone, which is also not surprising considering that the Corby family intends to look youthful as each is catered for the younger population.
Other features then include 3-megapixel camera with a front facing video-calling camera, 3.6Mbps HSDPA or EV-Do Rev. A, Bluetooth, DMB Mobile TV, Subway Maps, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion.
All three major mobile carriers in South Korea will offer this Samsung Corby Folder: for KT as SPH-W9300, for SK Telecom as SCH-W930, and for LG Telecom as SPH-W9350.
