The Nokia 6210s is indeed the first ever Nokia 3G handset to be sold in South Korea. It already launched as the 6210 Navigator in Europe last summer of 2008, but ironically, Nokia has removed the phone’s navigator capabilities since the Asian country has a regulation that asks GPS-capable devices to use only locally-based map servers.

With that, the essence of this phone has practically been ditched. But anyway, at least Koreans will get a hold of a new device apart from the usual LG or Samsung mobile phones they frequently see. This phone is actually a Symbian S60-based smartphone, which is somewhat enough to make it decent for an international…

Rumored to have its release back in March, finally, the long awaited Nokia E75 started shipping last April 6. This is indeed the only device from the E-series to come as a slider with full QWERTY keyboard, and is also the first smartphone to come with Nokia Messaging along with their new email user interface.

This provides easy access to corporate email such as Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, and also personal email like Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail. The improved email UI also includes expanding views on email messages, one click reply, sub-folder and HTML support.

This actually runs on Symbian S60 3rd Edition and will have support for…

Presented at the Samsung in Netherlands, the Samsung S5200 comes as a mid-level device, which will obviously cater to those who are not fond of the latest touch screen craze. Although it doesn’t have the latest unlike the S5600 and S5230 which are both touch screen phones announced just a few weeks back, its features are enough to make it a decent device.

This slider phone comes with a 2.1-inch TFT display which would probably have 240 x 320 pixels, large enough for a mid-level handset. There will also be a 3-megapixel camera, just right for taking high-quality photos, and of course, this will as well have Bluetooth 2.0, MP3 player, and…

The Nokia N97 has been spotted over at the FCC, which means that it will not only cater to the European and Asian markets, but to the US as well although we’re not sure if this will come in pink version unlike the original white version of it.

Despite its rather new color, this still holds the same interesting features. It will have support for GSM/EDGE and WCDMA band II, complete with HSDPA and Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, and FM transmitter. Of course obviously, it will have a really large 3.5-inch touch screen display and a slideout QWERTY keyboard to complete. This will also let you have direct access to your social networking…

Verizon Wireless is set to release another device for the enV line, which will be called the enV3. Well, what else should they call it anyway after releasing the enV1 and the enV2? There’s actually not much difference between the enV2 and this new enV3, but of course, as expected there’s a little upgrade to it.

This is said to have a much larger external screen and a tweaked QWERTY keyboard layout since as seen on the blurry picture, it comes with a space bar in the middle. It is also said to have an improved camera of 3-megapixel, which should be enough to take high-quality photos. That’s actually everything this…

The Samsung B7610 Louvre is said to be the successor of the F700, released back in 2007, although the difference is that the B7610 will come out as a smartphone. This phone has appeared at The Phone House, which is a Dutch version of the Carphone Warehouse, and has shown almost the similar design as to the F700.

It comes in the same form factor and as well as same QWERTY slideout keyboard. This is also expected to have touch screen user interface, 5-megapixel camera, and perhaps GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity as well. We’re not sure about that though, but what is certain is that this will run on Windows Mobile 6.1,…

The Samsung Valencia has actually been spotted back in MWC 2009 although it seems like only a few noticed that, until the CTIA Wireless where this device has once again showed up on Microsoft’s booth and not on Samsung’s.

Let’s not get into why Samsung did not have it, and instead just talk more about this phone. Well actually, despite its rather high-end look, this device remains a little on the mid-level smartphones. It has 393MHz processor complete with 128MB ROM and 2.0GB RAM, GPS, and with a 3G connectivity.

It also runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, but although the screen sample says this looks like it will have a touch screen user…

A lot may find the Samsung Impression not much an impressive device since after all, this has already been featured around the web a month ago which held the name Jackfrost. Now that everything has been made official at the CTIA Wireless that this will be called the Samsung Impression, I’m not so sure if you’ll still find this interesting.

What made this a bit notable anyway is its large 3.2-inch screen display with AMOLED, which is also said to still be viewable even at any angle. It is accompanied with TouchWiz User Interface and is complete with a full QWERTY slide out keyboard. This is also said to have support for…

The Kyocera Laylo M1400 is one of the two phones that the company has just announced a few days back. This is only going to be an entry-level slider as it is actually geared towards making calls and not about anything else.

This would just reveal an alphanumeric keypad on its slide up, and with a 2.2-inch QVGA display which is relatively large enough for a low-ender device. There will only be a VGA camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, speaker-independent voice recognition, personal organizer, and voice memo recorder, which are indeed not much although decent enough to make of a mobile phone. It will also have support for CDMA connectivity and is complete with…

After its long rumoured stay all over the web as a leaked device, the Motorola QA4 Evoke has finally been made official during the CTIA Wireless. It indeed comes in a very stylish design, but its features make this as another midrange multimedia phone.

This is actually not a smartphone although it may seem like it with its iPhone-like widgets, touch screen display and full-HTML browser. These widgets include MySpace Mobile, Follow Me Weather, Google Quicksearch, Google Picasa, RSS Reader, USA Today Mobile, and YouTube. It sports 2.8-inch QVGA screen display with 240 x 400 pixels resolution, accelerometer, and a virtual QWERTY keyboard in case you don’t want to use the alphanumeric…

HTC has unveiled their newest smartphone, dubbed as the HTC Snap at the CTIA Wireless. It actually looks like the Maple that has leaked around the web a few weeks back, although there really are no reports about it.

But anyway, the HTC Snap is another Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard smart phone, which will as well run on 528MHz Qualcomm CPU with 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM. Its other features are not that impressive, which will probably make this an affordable smartphone. This includes a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, AGPS, and complete with Wi-Fi and HSDPA.

This phone also introduces HTC’s first “Inner Circle” feature, which allows users to bring emails…

The Sanyo SCP-2700 is the latest device that the Japanese electronics company will be releasing this spring season. There’s actually nothing much in it although it is definitely a modernly-designed handset that those who are after an affordable messaging phone would probably buy.

It comes in a candy bar form factor, which features a full QWERTY keyboard and a screen at 2.2 inches with 320 x240 pixels and 65k colors. This is actually not bad to let you view photos and videos clearly. There will also be Bluetooth, 1.3-megapixel camera which is relatively low, and of course, enhanced messaging features.

This is said to arrive under Sprint, and will have Sprint Navigator with…
