A launch date has finally been unveiled for the much-awaited HTC Touch Pro 2. Well actually, it is just an expected release date announced by Expansys UK as they recently updated their pre-order page, which seems like they are already getting pre-orders of this device.

The availability of 3G network to China has moved Samsung to create a cellular phone that will cater to Chinese 3G networks, the TD-HSDPA TD-SCDMA 3G and CMMB. This device actually has no new features and will still perhaps have the basics in the mobile phone industry.

What actually makes this quite interesting is that this is actually a TV phone, and through the networks available, this could deliver some TV content to future Chinese 3G subscribers. Little is still known about the official specs of this handset, but seeing its design, perhaps it won’t be a bad choice for a low-to-mid level phone.

Pricing and release date is still unknown, but…

Just by looking at the Samsung M230 Phoenix, you would already know that this is just a basic clamshell phone since its design looks like such and even if you compare it to other basic Samsung devices; they would probably look the same. This comes a bit stylish anyway since it is slim, but the grey color made it look even more boring.

It has a small external display that will show you the time and the text messages received, and flipping the phone to open would show 1.9-inch internal display of 96 x 96 resolution. This also has Bluetooth, voice recognition, and French and English language support. There’s also threaded…

With the approval of the Sony Ericsson CS8 or the C905a last April by the FCC, we’re now getting information about its release date. Along with that, another device is also set to launch via T-Mobile, named as the CS5 or the North American version of the C903, which we’ve first seen back in February.

These two phones are obviously Cyber-shot devices with its C letter designation. The CS8 will have an 8-megapixel camera, while the CS5 will only have 5MP, which is already enough to take high-quality photos. It is also expected that both phones will have the latest there is in imaging technologies, including face detection, smart contrast, image stabilizer,…

We first heard of the Samsung B7300 back in March and we know how good-looking the phone is though little is known about the device then. Now, we’re seeing it once again and this time, with some of its key specs that are really nothing new to smart phones.

This will have support for quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, and will run on Windows Mobile OS with Touch Wiz User Interface. There are also 3.2-inch 320 x 400 pixels of TFT LCD Touch Screen, 3.2-megapixel camera, built-in GPS, FM Radio, and Bluetooth. This has no Wi-Fi or 3G connectivity, so perhaps this will only cater to those who are on a budget for a…

With the official announcement that the Samsung i7500 will be the first Samsung device to run Google’s Android, a lot have already been eyeing about this handset. Good news for those who are waiting for this since the Samsung i7500 has just been approved by the FCC.

This means that it will hit the market, most probably via T-Mobile, in no time. This has been approved to work on GSM/EDGE 850/1900MHz and 3G AWS 1700MHz bands. Aside from the exciting Android platform, this will also have a large 3.2-inch AMOLED HVGA touch-screen display, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, and 8GB of internal memory.

Pantech’s home-market sub-brand, Sky, has already reached ten years in the business, and as part of that celebration, the company has decided to come up with a new device, which they call the IM-U440 Hommage. With the name itself, this device is indeed just a typical Korean slider phone.

It has 122 multicolor LEDs, which are place just right below the screen display. And like other Korean devices with such, this also displays different patterns. Aside from that, this will also have TV Tuner, dynamic noise reduction, and a microSD card support.

That’s all revealed for now, and no release date or pricing have been announced as well, but it is said…

We’ve first heard of the LG enV3 back in April, and now we’re seeing another photo of it, this time coming in maroon version. Still, there’s nothing much revealed about this handset yet, and since we’ve already seen an enV Touch just a few days back, we can’t help but compare this device to it.

Obviously, the enV Touch is more likely to hit the market than this for the reason that it already comes as a touch-screened phone, which is undeniably becoming more and more popular for mobile phones these days.

Compared to its design, I think you’d rather opt for the enV Touch than the enV3 since this looks much of…

Leaked photos of the Blackberry Storm 2 have appeared all over the web, which actually started when some tipster sent it to Crackberry. It looks a lot like the Blackberry Storm but since this is a successor to the original, then let’s expect it to have some upgraded features.

The tipster said that this will have Wi-Fi support in addition to the GPS. There will also be a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, and will also have a new touch-screen technology, called the True Press, which is perhaps an improved SurePress on the current version. This is also said to be thinner and is much faster than its predecessor.

This will be launched under…

The Samsung SGH-A167 is another entry-level device that will probably cater to those who are on a budget for a mobile phone without of course, compromising functionality. Well, this only includes basic features that are decent enough for it to be called a mobile phone.

This clamshell device supports dual-band GSM/GPRS connectivity. It has 128 x 160 pixels internal CSTN display, a Web browser, a VGA camera, and 2MB of internal memory. There’s also a speakerphone for handsfree conversations. It also has Media Net service where you can check the weather condition, team scores of your favorite sports, and movie listings with just a few clicks.

As said, this Samsung SGH-A167 is a…

HTC has unveiled a new device that will come to Sprint, which will be called the HTC Willow. Well okay, you know this is not new since this is the same HTC S522 and the HTC Snap, only that it gets a new name for Sprint. Well that should not anymore be surprising since a lot of HTC devices really come with a lot of codenames too.

But then, what makes this different is that its trackball is changed into a traditional four-way D-pad. Other than that, specs and features remain the same. This includes a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a full QWERTY keyboard, and 2-megapixel camera. This will also have 528MHz…
