Remember the Vertu Ascent X that we’ve featured back in April? Well based on the features and design, it seems like that device will actually be called simply as the Ascent 2010. I’m not really sure about that—if these are all and the same or if these two are two different luxury devices.

Remember the LG GW990 that has been presented at the CES 2010 event in January? During that event, a lot were surprised when it is reported to become the manufacturer’s first device to run Intel’s Moorestown platform.

The LG GW990 definitely has a lot of interesting features to offer. It is said to have a widescreen 4.8-inch touchscreen display with 1028 x 480 pixels, 5-megapixel camera with HD quality video recording, multi-window UI, 3D gaming, HSPA, Wi-Fi, AGPS, and more. A new Motorola phone has been spotted over the web, and it goes by the name Motorola i897 Amphora. I’m not sure what’s with the name because it definitely doesn’t have any resemblance between an amphora, which is a type of ceramic vase.
