Remember the leaked Android-running square Motorola device that has been spotted back in April? It was actually previously named as the Motorola Twist, but now, it is said that it might be officially announced as the Motorola Flipout as it has been spotted in Brazil.

While the Motorola Backflip has that interesting back flipping design, the Motorola Flipout comes with swivel form factor. What’s more interesting about this is not only its design, but as well as its features since this will actually be powered by Android 2.1 OS and it will also have MotoBLUR UI. Aside from that, the Motorola Flipout will also be powered by 700MHz processor and will…

It was just last week when we’ve heard of the Samsung Seek for Sprint, and now, the carrier has already announced its availability. As said, this won’t come as a smartphone and it will more likely be catered to young individuals who aren’t really looking for powerful devices but for simple yet well-designed one.

The Samsung Seek indeed looks great in design and it is kind of comparable to the Corby series. This entry level phone is also said to cater for users who frequently use social networking and instant messaging. Features then include 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 1.3-megapixel camera, access to social-networking sites like Facebook, MySpace and…

The LG Ally continues to become a hot topic as we’ve just recently seen it last week and now, here it is again; and finally, it is said to hit the markets on May 20. Well, BGR has actually obtained this information, and along with that, they’ve as well managed to reveal more details about this device.

Just as what we’ve previously reported, BGR confirms that the LG Ally will be running on Google’s Android 2.1 OS. Aside from that though, it seems like what we have then aren’t going to be included in this device. We said that the LG Ally will be powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, but…

Remember the Vertu Ascent X that we’ve featured back in April? Well based on the features and design, it seems like that device will actually be called simply as the Ascent 2010. I’m not really sure about that—if these are all and the same or if these two are two different luxury devices.

But anyway, the Ascent 2010 has 2-inch QVGA sapphire crystal display, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash (which is definitely an upgrade to the Ascent Ti’s 3MP), AGPS with pre-loaded maps, quad-band 3G, and either 8GB or 32GB of on-board memory. If you can see on the photo, a chronograph display is also available in this Vertu Ascent 2010…

Remember the LG GW990 that has been presented at the CES 2010 event in January? During that event, a lot were surprised when it is reported to become the manufacturer’s first device to run Intel’s Moorestown platform.

The LG GW990 definitely has a lot of interesting features to offer. It is said to have a widescreen 4.8-inch touchscreen display with 1028 x 480 pixels, 5-megapixel camera with HD quality video recording, multi-window UI, 3D gaming, HSPA, Wi-Fi, AGPS, and more. Now if all these entice you already, sadly, this device won’t be available in any markets.

Well indeed, LG has told Phone Arena that the LG GW990 was just a concept phone…

Just a few weeks back, we’ve spotted a certain Motorola MT820 in leaked live photos, which is then said to hit the Chinese market. Now, we have a new phone spotted but it goes by the name Motorola MT810, and it is surprisingly said to be the same as the previously leaked MT820.

Just like the leaked MT820, the new MT810 is said to be running China Mobile’s own Android-based platform, which is called the Ophone. This is also said to have 5-megapixel camera with LED flash plus it can record 720p video, which is then said to be the first on Ophone operating system. Also, if you’ll notice, this MT810…

It was in March when we’ve first seen the Samsung S3370, and on the following month, the same device has appeared in Netherlands. Well now, what we’ve come to know as the Samsung S3370 has actually been officially announced in Russia, where it will be called as the Samsung Corby 3G.

With all the Corby devices that Samsung already has, I’m not going to blame you if you get confused because I am as well baffled. So anyway, since it is called as such, it should be clear that this will have 3G connectivity. Aside from that though, other features include 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen display with TouchWiz 2.0 UI, 1.3-megapixel camera,…

A new Motorola phone has been spotted over the web, and it goes by the name Motorola i897 Amphora. I’m not sure what’s with the name because it definitely doesn’t have any resemblance between an amphora, which is a type of ceramic vase.

We still don’t have any information about this Motorola i897 Amphora yet, but based on the photo and on its model number, this is obviously going to be another of those clamshell iDEN devices. Also, the photo shows a Ferrari logo right under the internal screen display, so this could be another Ferrari-Motorola collaboration in the works. And since this is an iDEN device, nothing much is really…

Already official since September of 2009 and already being sold in Europe, the Samsung B7330 Omnia Pro is now gearing up to hit Canada but in a different name, which is simply the Samsung Messenger. Nothing much is new or has been changed on this device; so still, it could work for those who want an easier way of typing their messages.

The Samsung Messenger B7330 will still be running on the same Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and not Android, and its other features include a full QWERTY keyboard in its candybar form factor, 2.6-inch display with 320 x 320 pixels, 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, AGPS, Bluetooth, FM…

Alcatel isn’t really a mobile phone manufacturer many of you would go to in case you need a new phone. While the manufacturer isn’t really part of the top three major go-to phone brands of many, still, Alcatel manages to actually go along with the trend.

Their latest mobile offering is the Alcatel One Touch Xtra, which is presented as a social-networking device, something a lot would look for in a phone, especially the younger groups. It obviously lets you access social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter; and it also has a touchscreen display of 2.4-inch and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which are definitely the on-trend style you see these…

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 family has already been made available, which includes the X10, X10 Mini and the X10 Mini Pro. But though it is already out for retail, still, many are probably hoping that these smartphones should’ve run on Android 2.1 instead of Android 1.6 as the former is already made available in some of the latest devices.

Well, I guess there’s still time to wait for that though, especially now that the Swedish-Japanese company has already announced that the Xperia X10 devices would get the update everyone is waiting for. Sadly though, Android 2.1 Éclair will come to the Xperia X10 phones in the fourth quarter of the…
