With the recent unveiling of the Nokia N97, we’ve come to known that Vodafone will not be offering the said device, but rather, it will be offering a mini version of it. Well, this still remains a rumor despite the fact that a moderator at Vodafone Ireland Forums posted a message that a Nokia N97 Mini will come to Vodafone Ireland.

In fact, IntoMobile’s Stefan Constantinescu even sent a tweet to Vodafone Ireland in hopes to get a comment regarding the said device, and Vodafone Ireland actually confirmed that there will be such.

At the forums, it was said that the N97 Mini will come as a cheaper version of the Nokia N97 though specs were not actually revealed. It is also said that it will be released sometime “later this year.” Better check out screenshots of the conversations to see it for yourself.
