What was believed to be the Motorola Sholes back in August when it first leaked over at Motofan.ru seems to come as the Motorola Tao in its recent leakage. Live photos have appeared showing the device at Howard Forums, which tells that it’s probably getting close to being officially announced.

Anyway, this handset seems to be made out of metal and it is also said to come with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, though these new set of photos doesn’t show it.

As expected, this will arrive as another of Motorola’s Android device, “running the Android OS 2.0 “Eclair” build.” This will have a large 3.7-inch touch-screen display with 854 x 480 pixels, 5-megapixel camera, and 3.5mm headset jack.

Still, Motorola and Verizon need to confirm this device; but a lot are expecting it to be introduced at the CTIA show in San Diego.
