Motorola has been coming up with a lot of Android-powered phones these days in North America and in Europe, so it is not anymore surprising if they also come up with another of such for the Chinese markets.
With that, Motorola is now planning on releasing the Motorola MT710 in China, which will indeed be powered by China Mobile’s Android-based Open Mobile System, called the OPhone. A lot have compared it to the much talked about Motorola Droid in terms of design, though this MT710 doesn’t have any sliding QWERTY keyboard.
This then has 3.7-inch full touch-screen display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, 3G support using China Mobile’s new TD-SCDMA network, support for China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting or CMMB, and Wi-Fi.
There are no other features revealed about this Motorola MT710, and exact release date and pricing are also not known yet.
