Motorola Devour

A few days after the Motorola Devour is spotted and rumored to come to Verizon, Motorola has finally officially announced it. Previously known as the Motorola Calgary, this Motorola Devour will indeed be their second Android smartphone for Verizon.

This is also believed to be the first phone from Verizon to feature MotoBlur, “a feature that syncs in-phone data with posts, messages and photos from Facebook, MySpace and Twitter”, and all can be viewed from the homescreen.

As previously rumored, this Motorola Devour will have 3.1-inch HVGA 320 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3-megapixel fixed focus camera, accelerometer, Wi-Fi, AGPS, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, and 8GB memory card in the box. This will also have support for CDMA EVDO Rev A connectivity, dual microphones with noise cancellation, Adobe Flash Lite, document reader, and Android HTML webkit browser.

Of course, this will also include Google services like Search and Gmail, Android Market, and Maps with Street View for turn-by-turn directions.

It’s not announced yet on how much this Motorola Devour will be offered, but it is believed to come out this March.
