LG seems to have become more serious now when it comes to their mobile phone releases. Recently, they’ve just announced that they are planning on releasing a Windows Mobile 7 phone; and now, they also seems to go with the Android mobile trend.

Well, it isn’t the first time that they will actually venture on Android as they’ve already released their first ever Android smartphone in the form of the LG GW620 in UK and Italy; but what is surprising is that they do plan to set an even higher-standard Android device with the same specs as with the Google Nexus One. With the model number LG LU2300, this smartphone is said to run on Android 2.1 along with 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

Aside from that, rumor has it that this LG LU2300 will also have WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display and 5-megapixel camera that can record 720p video at 30fps.  Then again, there are no official statements about this certain LG LU2300 yet.
