The Kyocera Laylo M1400 is one of the two phones that the company has just announced a few days back. This is only going to be an entry-level slider as it is actually geared towards making calls and not about anything else.
This would just reveal an alphanumeric keypad on its slide up, and with a 2.2-inch QVGA display which is relatively large enough for a low-ender device. There will only be a VGA camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, speaker-independent voice recognition, personal organizer, and voice memo recorder, which are indeed not much although decent enough to make of a mobile phone. It will also have support for CDMA connectivity and is complete with instant messaging and WAP browser.
This measures about 94.7 x 46.7 x 17.0mm, so this would definitely be stylish and handy enough for those who are seeking for an affordable and simple phone.
