HTC Sapphire

HTC is up with a successor of the T-Mobile G1 which will be called the T-Mobile G2 or the HTC Sapphire. It is said to be the phone that will hold features enough to compete against Apple’s iPhone.

This resembles much to the Touch 3G and is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It will not have any slide-out QWERTY keyboard which leaves users with only a touch screen user interface; good enough since most handsets these days holds a touch screen display.

There are no features leaked yet except for the obvious fact that it will have a 3.2-megapixel camera. This smart phone is said to be released in the market around May of this year, although no official announcements have been made yet by HTC regarding this rumored T-Mobile G1 or HTC Sapphire.
