Remember the Samsung Messager SCH-r450 that has been released two years ago? Well it’s now getting a successor as the Samsung Messager Touch SCH-r630 has been presented. Obviously, you’d expect this new touch version with more improved features; after all, it comes as the successor.

The original Samsung Messager has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The new Samsung Messager Touch also has such, though instead of having an alphanumeric keypad, this will come as a touchscreen phone complete with TouchWiz UI. From 1.3-megapixel camera, the Samsung Messager Touch will have 2-megapixel camera with video recording capability. This will also have Bluetooth, voice recognition, speakerphone, and microSD card expansion up to 16GB.

The Samsung Messager Touch SCH-r630 is now ready for purchase through U.S. Cellular for $49.95 after a mail-in rebate and 2-year contract.

Back in January, the Motorola Motoroi has been announced officially for the South Korean market. While we thought it would remain as another Korea-exclusive device, it is surprising to learn that this is also rumored to be available in the US.

No carrier has made their statements yet about offering the Motorola Motoroi, but rumors say it could be Cincinnati Bell. You would expect this smartphone to be offered by huge carriers like AT&T, Verizon or Sprint, and certainly not from a regional carrier that only got less than a million subscribers. But, it could really be that Cincinnati Bell would offer this Motorola Motoroi, and Phandroid even said that the carrier plans to offer this starting the third quarter of this year.

The Motorola Motoroi is an Android 2.1-running smartphone (or could be Android 2.2 Froyo since the said updated OS will come out the 3rd quarter as well), and its other features include 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen display, 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and HD video recording, Wi-Fi, GPS, and HDMI port.

So I guess we’ll all have to wait till this gets officially announced by Cincinnati Bell, eh?

For the Asians out there who’ve wanted to have the latest beast device from Samsung, which packs a Super AMOLED display and an Android OS, then you’d surely be excited to know that Samsung has just announced that this June, the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 will be available to the Asian market.

The Samsung Galaxy S i9000, which has been announced at the CTIA 2010, is indeed the company’s first Android handset to come with Super AMOLED display. It will be running Android 2.1, though it is expected that this will be upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo when the said OS comes out.

The screen size will be four inches; and just as what is previously reported, this Samsung Galaxy S i9000 should as well have 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, access to social networking sites, DivX and XviD video playback with HD resolution, and large memory storage.

In Singapore, it is believed that the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 will cost for 1,098 SGD or around $775. There’s no exact date of release (but June) for this device yet, but it is said it will hit Asia the same time it will hit Europe.

We already have the Acer Liquid A1 since 2009, then it was just this February of 2010 when the Acer Liquid e came along. Now here’s the Acer Liquid Stream S110, which Acer has shown at the Google I/O so obviously, this will be powered by Google’s Android OS.

AndroidGuys reported that the Acer Liquid Stream S110 is currently running Android 2.1, and perhaps there’s a possible chance it would be upgraded to Android 2.2. It is also said to be powered by 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and will have 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability. Android France, however, said that this will have support for 850/1900MHz HSPA, so it’s probably going to land in North America.

The latter also said that the Acer Liquid Stream S110 should be out in October, but there’s still no official announcement regarding that.

It was in the latter of 2008 when the first Samsung Gravity was released, and then in mid 2009 when the Gravity 2 is launched. Now, here comes the Samsung Gravity, which TmoNews reported to have its launch on June 23.

Like the two other Gravity phones, the Gravity will also have a QWERTY keyboard, and it is said to target the younger group of individuals from 13 to 24 years old as it aims to focus on instant messaging and texting. Its design is much better than its predecessors and its rounded shape and colorful keyboard kind of makes it look like a Corby device.

Its entire features are not revealed, but it’s said that its top features include 2-megapixel camera with flash, 3G, and text, IM and picture messaging.

As said, TmoNews reported that the Samsung Gravity 3 is scheduled for a June 23 release through T-Mobile.

Monster phones are sure to be the talk of the town even if the certain device hasn’t been officially announced yet. What we have here is believed to be the Motorola Shadow, which we’ve already seen in leaked and rendered images back in January. We’re really not sure if it’s the same device as what we have now, but it looks like it anyway.

A certain wnrussell at Howard Forums has actually leaked this clear photo and it is believed that he has this Motorola Shadow in his hands. So anyway, this Motorola Shadow should definitely be the talk of the crowd since this is believed to sport a huge 4.1-inch touchscreen display. It is also said to be powered by 720MHz ARM Cortex A8, and like the previous leaked, this is also believed to have 8-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory.

Still, we do not know when Motorola is releasing this Motorola Shadow or even when and where it would land.

Not long after Verizon Wireless announced the Android 2.1-running LG Ally, the LG Fathom, which is a Windows Mobile 6.5.3 smartphone has been announced. There’s really nothing so innovative about this new device, and those who are expecting for a Windows Phone 7 update with this would surely be dejected.

This is because this LG Fathom will only have a 3.2-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen display, whereas the WP7 requires capacitive. Obviously, this will also have slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and this is also said to be powered by 1GHz processor. Other features include 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, MP3 player, Wi-Fi, EV-DO and HSDPA connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot for up to 16GB of storage.

Verizon Wireless is said to offer this LG Fathom starting June 3 for $149.99 after two-year contract and with $100 mail-in rebate.

Most mobile phone manufacturers today seem to focus on one market—the Chinese market. That said, it shouldn’t be surprising if this newly leaked device from Motorola will be released in China. Its model number, which is Motorola XT502, even tells that this could most likely be sold in China or Korea just like the XT701 and XT800.

The Motorola XT502 is said to come as an Android-running phone, and based on the photo provided by Bluetooth SIG, it could probably be Android 2.1. This obviously sports a touchscreen display, and Bluetooth SIG also reported that this will have quad-band GSM, tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz), Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, 3.5mm headset jack, and a camera of unknown megapixel count.

The said bands could surely work for North American carriers, so it’s also possible that various versions of this Motorola XT502 could also come out.

There’s always been a trend in mobile phone industry, where a certain device comes in various names, depending on which country it lands. Take for example the Samsung S3370. We’ve seen this leaked since March; and it was a few weeks back when it is said to come to Russia as the Samsung Corby 3G.

It was also reported that the Samsung S3370 will come to Belgium as the Samsung Acton, where it is also said to be offered with a free football. In Italy, however, this same Samsung S3370 will be called as the Samsung Pocket 3G.

I know that’s a lot of names. But it goes down to the bottom that this remains one and the same with model number S3370. Three Store in UK seems to use that original name as they’re now offering this device as well. The Samsung S3370 is actually just an entry-level phone that sports 2.8-inch touchscreen display with TouchWiz UI, 1.3-megapixel camera, Facebook and Twitter integration, Bluetooth, stereo FM, HTML browser, and a microSD card slot. 3’s subscribers can get free Skype-to-Skype calls as well.

The Samsung S3370 is being offered by 3 for free on plans of at least £10/monthly.

Remember the LG Vu that was released back in 2008? Well it looks like it’s bound to have a successor as AT&T has unveiled the LG Vu Plus. This new LG feature phone seems almost the same as its predecessor, but what makes this obviously different is that it will have a slide out four-row QWERTY keyboard.

The LG Vu Plus is also said to have enhanced UI, and since this will be available via AT&T, this will then have support for AT&T’s FLO-based Mobile TV service, which “carries over for $9.99 a month with a free 7-day trial subscription.” Other AT&T offerings such as AT&T Navigator and AT&T Social Net are as well included.

The LG Vu Plus will then sport 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display, and will have 3-megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording, HSDPA, HTML browser, and a microSD memory card slot.

AT&T said that they will be offering the LG Vu Plus starting June 6 for $149.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and with two-year contract.

There are already a lot of Samsung phones that have been released exclusively in South Korea. Most (if not some) of them are mid-to-high end ones that we tend to wish it could be released anywhere else in the world, too. Well two new devices are about to become exclusively available (again) in South Korea, but don’t fret since these are just low-to-mid range devices.

We’re talking about the Samsung A160S and the Samsung A180S. The Samsung A160S is a clamshell device with illuminated RGB lighting on the exterior, which makes it kind of playful for the youth. Features included are 2.4-inch QVGA screen, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, media player, 3G radio, e-dictionary, and a microSD card slot.

The Samsung A180S, however, is a slider phone that comes complete with a smaller 2.2-inch QVGA screen. Other features are actually the same as with the A160S. This will then be available in pearl white and rose pink color versions.

Both of these Samsung A160S and Samsung A180S will then be offered via SK Telecom.

While most high-end HTC devices today do not come with QWERTY keyboard, then you should be glad to know that HTC is cooking up to offer the HTC Vision. The HTC Vision is said to be much like the HTC Desire since its user agent are almost identical, save for the full slide-out QWERTY keyboard that the Vision has.

The photo we have here of the HTC Vision isn’t really the said device and is actually just a mock up, mixing the HTC Desire with the QWERTY keyboard of the Touch Pro 2. We really do not have any information yet about this HTC Vision but rumors also say that it could as well be running Android 2.2 OS. Expect basic features like Wi-Fi, GPS and perhaps 3G to come in this smartphone as such seem to be available on mid to high level devices these days.

So yet again, we still need confirmation regarding this HTC Vision and we’re hoping it would be announced soon.
