Remember the Vertu Ascent X that we’ve featured back in April? Well based on the features and design, it seems like that device will actually be called simply as the Ascent 2010. I’m not really sure about that—if these are all and the same or if these two are two different luxury devices.

But anyway, the Ascent 2010 has 2-inch QVGA sapphire crystal display, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash (which is definitely an upgrade to the Ascent Ti’s 3MP), AGPS with pre-loaded maps, quad-band 3G, and either 8GB or 32GB of on-board memory. If you can see on the photo, a chronograph display is also available in this Vertu Ascent 2010…

After the Signature Pure Black has been introduced, Vertu is believed to be gearing up for a yet another luxurious device, which they call the Vertu Ascent X. We don’t have information about its body or rather from which material this is made, but based on the photos available, this seems to be crafted from another sturdy material.

The design looks quite tough in silver and black combination, and the sculpted panels as well add a tougher look to its entirety. And though most luxury phones don’t really much have to offer in features, interesting enough, this Vertu Ascent X has quite a few interesting features to offer.

First spotted around September of last year, the Vertu Ayxta from Vertu’s Constellation series is now getting a makeover to go with the Valentine’s Day. The original luxury device is done in black, and now, this new Ayxta seems catered for women as it is done in pink.

Aside from the color, nothing else has changed in this Vertu Ayxta. It is still the standard Ayxta only that it is adorned with pink leather. It is still made of the same stainless steel material, ceramic leather, sapphire crystal for its display, and aerospace grade aluminum parts.

Normally, phones that are luxury-designed don’t come with high-end features so do not expect such to…

Another series of high-quality designed phone is being offered by Nokia’s luxury subsidiary. This collection is called the Vertu Ascent Ti Neon, and from the name itself, this already suggests another interesting feature.

One huge difference that you’ll probably notice on this device, as compared to their other phones, is its lack of leather panel at the back. It has been changed into rubber, perhaps for more durability. It is also re-shaped in a slightly thinner design to fit any purses; and finally, it is neon and it comes in four colorways to choose from.

Of course, specifications are not that advanced since we know that Vertu is focused more on design…

Nokia’s luxury phone division, Vertu, has just presented a new handset from its Ascent Ti collection, which will be called the Vertu Ascent Ti Damascus Steel. Just by hearing the name of this device, you would already know that this would be one tough mobile phone.

Indeed, this handset is built with the use of an “ancient steel forging” technique, which is used to increase the metal’s hardness, the same technique that was used all through the centuries to make things like a samurai sword or an Indian Wootz sword. With that, it is very evident that this device looks just as fierce as those swords.

Vertu has just presented their latest series of luxury phones, which they call the Constellation Vivre Collection. The devices included in this series was inspired and co-designed in partnership with Michelle Yeoh, who is their brand ambassador.

According to her, “For me, a Vertu phone is the ultimate accessory. So I really loved working with a designer who was able to adjust my ideas to the Constellation model, to create this beautiful new range.” With that and with the nature-inspired theme of the handsets, you might probably say that this collection is probably catered to women.

But since the leaf pattern is refined and doesn’t have too much flowery detailing on it,…

The Vertu Constellation Pure Collection is the latest creation of the luxury cell phone company. It should not anymore be surprising if this is another high-priced phone, built with high-quality materials but with lesser high-end features.

The collection includes Pure White, Pure Black, Pure Silver and Pure Chocolate color versions. These are built from steel, ceramics and leather, where the whole keypad and earpiece are made out of ceramic. It is said that two years have been spent to create the perfectly colored ceramic. It is not anymore surprising to see unusual designs on Vertu’s line up of mobile phones, such as this Vertu Signature Dragon handset Cell Phone.

After two years when the Signature Cobra came about, now, Vertu has decided to come up with a dragon. Obviously, the dragon rests on the front of this device, just like where the Cobra was once placed. It is said that this particular phone is made of gold and sparkling diamonds.  And since the Signature Cobra retailed for over a quarter of a million bucks, let’s expect this Vertu Signature Dragon to hold a similar price.

This luxurious Vertu handset is currently on display on their shop…
