The Samsung Freeform that has already been released by Alltel Wireless since September of last year will now be coming to US Cellular. This won’t actually have any changes that even its name, color and entire features are the same.

It comes in a slim design with its candybar shape, and interesting enough, this actually has a QWERTY keyboard. Being in such small dimension, I’m not sure how small the keys are and if it will be an appropriate phone for those with big hands. But anyway, its specs are not much to ponder upon because these aren’t totally groundbreaking. These only include 2.2-inch 176 x 144 display, 1.3-megapixel camera, threaded…

Back during the CES 2010, Samsung has announced its partnership with Technicolor and Dreamwork Studios to come up with a series of 3D HDTVs. Well now, it looks like they’re as well planning to bring the same technology in a cellular phone as leaked information about a certain Samsung SCH-W960 has surfaced.

This Samsung SCH-W960 will have 3.3-inch WQVGA 3D AMOLED touchscreen display, so just imagine how innovative and modern the screen of this device is. Other features are also said to include 3-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, DNSe 2.0 capability, DivX support, and dual DMB, operating on both satellite and terrestrial transmissions. It is also said that this device will…

We’ve already heard about the Samsung SPH-W9500 back in December of 2009 when it was spotted at a certain Korean shopping site, and now, Samsung has finally launched this device in South Korea as the Samsung SPH-W9500 Clutch.

It is said that this device has such a name since it indeed resembles to clutch bags. Obviously, this is a very feminine phone that seems to resemble the Samsung Diva S7070 with its diamond quilted design on the back, but then again, there’s no word if this is also part of the Diva collection or not. But anyway, unlike the entry-level S7070, this W9500 will come as a mid-end phone.

This will have…

I don’t know with Samsung (and LG) as to why they keep on releasing stylish handsets only in Korea and not let other countries get a hold of it. The latest device that will arrive in South Korea is the Samsung SCH-W890.

Looking at it would probably appeal to fashionable individuals, preferably more on women and teens. But then again, though it looks good on the outside, its features and specs are not something you would dare to compare with monsters like the iPhone or Droid. What’s interesting about this though is that this Samsung SCH-W890 will have support for both satellite and terrestrial DMBs for mobile TV viewers.

Other than that,…

Remember the Samsung Corby Folder that we’ve spotted back in January? Well it has not yet been officially announced, though it can already be seen on Samsung’s Korean website, which makes it semi-official. With the success of Samsung’s Corby line up, we shouldn’t be surprised seeing more Corby family members in the coming days.

As what its name suggests, this Samsung Corby Folder is indeed a clamshell type of mid to low-end phone. It has a small external LED display, and inside comes 2.6-inch QVGA internal display. This is obviously a stylishly-designed phone, which is also not surprising considering that the Corby family intends to look youthful as each is catered…

Samsung is about to release a new version of the Samsung Jet, which was released since last year, in this new Samsung Jet 2. Actually, this is only said to come to India and it will most likely be the same as the original Samsung Jet only that this Samsung Jet 2 will have new additional software features.

It is also said that this Samsung Jet 2 will have “smart features and an easy-to-use user interface” to provide a “superior and differentiated experience.” This will then have 3D media gate user interface and a “one finger zoom”, which is believed to be a new concept that lets users use one hand…

It was back in October of last year when US Cellular got a hold of the Samsung Caliber; and it’s never too late for other carriers to have this device as well. Take for example MetroPCS as they’ve just released the Samsung Caliber R860, which is actually believed to be their first Samsung touchscreen phone.

There’s actually nothing so notable about its features if compared to monsters like the Droid or iPhone, but at least MetroPCS customers would have an array of choices for mobile phones.

This is just a mid-level device with features that include 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, TouchWiz UI, 3-megapixel camera with flash, GPS with MetroNavigator, full HTML browser,…

In addition to the low-ender Samsung E2550 and C3200, Samsung has as well announced the Samsung E2370 rugged phone at the MWC 2010. This ruggedized device obviously offers very basic and simple but definitely functional features in its tough candybar form factor.

This Samsung E2370 then comes with IP54 certification, which means that this is highly resistant against dust and splashes of water, though this isn’t actually waterproofed and it does not work under water.

This will then have 1.77-inch 128 x 160 pixels display, 0.3-pixel VGA camera with VGA resolution video recording, multimedia player, FM radio, Bluetooth, Torchlight, mobile tracker, dual speaker, microSD card support, and 2,000mAh battery that can last…

After the Samsung Monte S5620 has been officially announced at the MWC 2010, Samsung has as well announced two more devices that are part of the Monte series: the Samsung Monte Slider E2550 and the Samsung Monte Bar C3200. Unlike the S5620, we know has interesting high-end features, these two new devices are obviously just basic handsets.

Looking at these devices already tells that this won’t have much interesting or rather ground-breaking features as compared to the first Monte device, which is the S5620; yet this should appeal to those who are just actually looking for something that can function as a simple mobile phone.

The Samsung Monte Slider E2550 is indeed…

Those who find the Samsung B3410 CorbyPlus interesting but its lack of Wi-Fi holds you back from getting it, you’ll surely be glad to learn about this Samsung Ch@t B3410W. This device is indeed the same B3410 CorbyPlus released last year, but this time, with Wi-Fi connectivity.

Actually, aside from having a Wi-Fi, this Samsung Ch@t B3410W will also be having large internal memory at 1GB or 2GB. Other features remain the same as with the CorbyPlus, and these include 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 2-megapixel camera, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, FM radio, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth, media player, microSD card slot, and of course, access to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter,…

Samsung seems to have gone serious about smartphones lately. We’ve just heard of their first Bada phone which is the Samsung Wave S8500, and now, they’ve announced the Samsung i8520 Halo. It is still not sure whether this will be running Bada OS as well or Android, but Engadget confirmed that this will be running on Android 2.1.

Anyway, features and specs of this Samsung i8520 Halo are pretty impressive. This actually comes as a projector phone with its built-in DLP pico projector from Texas Instruments. Other features then include 3.7-inch Super AMOLED QVGA touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels and TouchWiz 3.0 UI, 8-megapixel autofocus camera with flash, front-facing…
