Remember the Samsung Messager SCH-r450 that has been released two years ago? Well it’s now getting a successor as the Samsung Messager Touch SCH-r630 has been presented. Obviously, you’d expect this new touch version with more improved features; after all, it comes as the successor.

The original Samsung Messager has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The new Samsung Messager Touch also has such, though instead of having an alphanumeric keypad, this will come as a touchscreen phone complete with TouchWiz UI. From 1.3-megapixel camera, the Samsung Messager Touch will have 2-megapixel camera with video recording capability. This will also have Bluetooth, voice recognition, speakerphone, and microSD card expansion up to 16GB.

For the Asians out there who’ve wanted to have the latest beast device from Samsung, which packs a Super AMOLED display and an Android OS, then you’d surely be excited to know that Samsung has just announced that this June, the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 will be available to the Asian market.

The Samsung Galaxy S i9000, which has been announced at the CTIA 2010, is indeed the company’s first Android handset to come with Super AMOLED display. It will be running Android 2.1, though it is expected that this will be upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo when the said OS comes out.

It was in the latter of 2008 when the first Samsung Gravity was released, and then in mid 2009 when the Gravity 2 is launched. Now, here comes the Samsung Gravity, which TmoNews reported to have its launch on June 23.

Like the two other Gravity phones, the Gravity will also have a QWERTY keyboard, and it is said to target the younger group of individuals from 13 to 24 years old as it aims to focus on instant messaging and texting. There’s always been a trend in mobile phone industry, where a certain device comes in various names, depending on which country it lands. Take for example the Samsung S3370. We’ve seen this leaked since March; and it was a few weeks back when it is said to come to Russia as the Samsung Corby 3G.

It was also reported that the Samsung S3370 will come to Belgium as the Samsung Acton, where it is also said to be offered with a free football. In Italy, however, this same Samsung S3370 will be called as the Samsung Pocket 3G.

A new unannounced Samsung phone has been spotted on the web, and it is named as the Samsung i8920 Omnia HD2. Yet again, this sure is another interesting device from the manufacturer as it is believed to boast high-end features.

It actually looks like it will run on Nokia’s Symbian^3 OS; and other features of this Samsung i8920 Omnia HD2 include a large 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display and a large 12-megapixel camera with autofocus, both Xenon and LED flash and also capability to record video in 720p resolution at 30fps. Samsung continues to offer various mobile phones from low to high end ones. This time around, they’re releasing the low-ender Samsung E1220 for China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile phone operator.

The Samsung E1220 indeed has nothing much to offer but those who are looking for a simple and easy to use phone would definitely find this appealing. While we know that the Samsung Corby series holds probably the cheapest messaging device targeted to young mobile users, it seems like Samsung wants to go way even cheaper with an even lower-end all-touchscreen device as they announce the Samsung Champ.

Most of Samsung Corby devices have 2.8-inch of touchscreen display, which is already small; but this Samsung Champ will have an even smaller QVGA touchscreen display at only 2.4 inches. This indeed looks small, and along with this, features are as well not too much. T-Mobile USA is yet again about to offer new Samsung phones this year; and this coming June, TmoNews has reported that the carrier will be getting three new Samsung phones. These three are the Samsung T669, Samsung T479, and Samsung T349.

What these three phones have in common is their rounded shapes and QWERTY keyboards. The Samsung T669 has touchscreen display with slide-out QWERTY keyboard, TouchWIZ UI, and 2-megapixel camera. U.S. Cellular has announced another Android device for their lineup, which is the Samsung i5700 Acclaim R880.
