The largest Chinese mobile carrier, China Mobile, has unveiled their first Android-based device, which is also Philips’ first that will run on Android. This mobile phone is the Philips V900, and actually, it runs on the carrier’s own Android-based Open Mobile System (OMS) or also known as the OPhone.

It is believed that Philips is getting ready to release two new handsets in the near future. These handsets are the K700 and X501, which are actually both part of the Xenium line up though the former doesn’t hold the letter X designation.
