Pantech always manages to show interesting mobile phone designs, though some of it does not include ground-breaking features. The latest device from their lineup is the Pantech Sky Pandora IM-U590, which has just been introduced in the Korean market.

And yet again, the Pantech Sky Pandora IM-U590 is another of those stylish and luxurious looking phone that hasn’t got any much new features. Well at least it has that “jewelry box” with shimmering LED lights right underneath the 3-inch touchscreen display, which is believed to work not just as an added oomph and appeal for the phone by as well as an optical trackpad for easier web browsing.

Remember the Pantech Link that appeared at the CTIA 2010 and is said to come to AT&T on the second quarter of the year? Well the second quarter has begun, and now, April 18 is the expected release date of this device through AT&T.

Along with the Samsung Sunburst and the Samsung Strive, the Pantech Pursuit is also included in the set of mobile phones announced a few weeks back, which are to land under AT&T. AT&T and Pantech have been great partners in releasing mobile phones since then, where some are weird-looking like the Pantech Reveal and the Pantech Impact. The latest of which, which is neither really that weird nor good-looking, is the Pantech P9020.

This device is just a low-cost messaging phone, which should already give you an idea that this won’t have any groundbreaking features. This has just actually passed the FCC approvals, making it work on GSM 850/1900 and WCDMA 850/1900 bands.
