Just a few days after the Nokia C5 has been officially announced, it finally hits the FCC and people behind the FCC finds it fit to be granted of their approval. This has actually been approved to work on quad-band GSM with 900/2100MHz 3G band, and it is also said to only come cheap in pricing.

Well, this should really come affordable since this is just another low-end device with no ground-breaking features. What’s actually interesting here is that this is the first phone that will come out from Nokia’s C series. But if you want to keep connected with your friends and family without spending much, you know this would…

It seems like Nokia loves their Nokia N97 Mini so much that they are doing another limited edition of the smartphone once more after having the RAOUL last year and the Gold edition just last month. This time though, they are collaborating with Oakley to produce 200 limited edition Nokia N97 Mini handsets.

Well if you want this device but you’re not part of those Oakley-sponsored Winter Olympians, I guess the only option to get this is through eBay (if ever there’s someone who would want to sell their limited edition device) since this will only be given to those athletes.

What makes this different as with the original N97 Mini and…

This may not have Wi-Fi capabilities and it may only have fixed-focus 2-megapixel camera, but what makes this Nokia 5230 Nuron a lot interesting is that it is the “first US carrier-supported Nokia handset to come with free turn-by-turn navigation.” This will have built-in GPS receiver with the latest Ovi Maps that offers free voice-guided navigation. Maps pre-loaded include that…

There’s the N-series, the X-series (announced just last year), and now there’s the C-series? While it remains unannounced and we actually do not know if there’s such, this leaked image of a certain Nokia C5 tells that there will indeed be a C-series.

Perhaps this series will include fairly low end devices since this Nokia C5 mobile phone looks as such. It comes simple in a candybar form factor and it is believed to run on Symbian S60 3rd Edition feature Pack 2. This will have 2.2-inch screen display, which is obviously not in touchscreen, and also the usual alphanumeric keypad.

Other features then include GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 3.2-megapixel camera, FM…
