Staying true to their promise, AT&T has finally released the Motorola Backflip, which comes as their first ever Android-powered smartphone. It has actually been available in China and Italy already, so now Americans can as well get a hold of this interestingly unique smartphone.

If you’re wondering what makes it unique among other Android phones with QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen display, well, this Motorola Backflip comes with a backflip mechanism on its QWERTY keyboard, which would be revealed on a reverse flip. Motorola Quench to be launched by TIM Brazil

T-Mobile won’t be the only carrier that will be releasing the Motorola Cliq XT next month, since TIM, Brazil’s third largest mobile carrier, will also be launching this device on March as the Motorola Quench. AT&T to Offer Motorola Backflip on March 7

The Motorola Backflip has already been announced in China and in Italy; and now, according to press release, AT&T is also getting it ready for an American release this March. This is then believed to become the carrier’s first ever Android-powered smartphone.

Other than running on Android 1.5 and aside from having an odd yet innovative and interesting reverse flip design, this Motorola Backflip will also have interesting features.

It looks like the long-rumored Motorola Zeppelin won’t come out with such a name as it has finally been announced at the MWC 2010 as the Motorola CLIQ XT or Quench outside the US. There are a few distinct differences that this smartphone has as compared to its predecessor, the Cliq, which is released last year.

Motorola Split Leaked Once Again

It was in January when we first heard and spotted the leaked Motorola Motosplit in what seems to be of a rendered image, and now, more rendered images of this intriguing device are seen at the Android Community.

I can say that the previous render was more appealing as compared to this one, though I am not saying I find the previous appealing as well. Based on this new leaked photo, this Motosplit seems to use dynamic key labels, which would probably let users pull out one side to reveal the numeric keypad or both sides, which would be in split, to reveal its full QWERTY keyboard.

Motorola Devour Officially Announced for Verizon

A few days after the Motorola Devour is spotted and rumored to come to Verizon, Motorola has finally officially announced it. Previously known as the Motorola Calgary, this Motorola Devour will indeed be their second Android smartphone for Verizon.

It has now become official that the Motorola Zeppelin, which we’ve heard back in October 2009, will be running on Android 1.5 with MotoBlur since live photos of this device showing its home-screen were spotted in Brazil. Just last month, we’ve heard a buzz pertaining to the long-rumored Motorola Calgary that is set to hit Verizon. If you’ll read back, the Motorola Calgary has been around the web since December of 2008, and now, everything seems to fall into place.

Motorola has announced at the CES 2010 that the Motorola Backflip will be available to AT&T this first quarter of the year. While we thought that the US will be the first to get a hold of this handset, Motorola has just announced its availability to the Chinese market.

We’re not quite sure if the Motorola Zeppelin we have here is the same as with the Motorola Zeppelin XT800 that has been presented in China last year. Design-wise, you’ll see two different casing, and some of its specs are as well different.

The XT800 is a high-end device while this Zeppelin will only come as a mid-level handset. Both of which are Android-powered devices anyway, and the main difference you’ll probably notice about these two handsets is its screen size.
