Blackberry Bold 9800 Shows New Webkit Browser on Blackberry 6.0 OS

The still unreleased Blackberry Bold 9800 has shown up in few photos, showing off Blackberry’s new webkit browser. This device is said to be the first to run on the new Blackberry 6.0 OS, so this is sure to keep everyone excited.

What the photo actually shows is only the Acid3 test, which is “a test page from the Web Standards Project that checks how well a web browser follows certain selected elements from web standards.” You can see that the Blackberry Bold 9800 webkit browser is successful with its perfect score of 100/100. Blackberry 9670 Clamshell Runs on Blackberry OS 6.0

BGR has managed to take quite few photos of an upcoming Blackberry device. Apparently called the Blackberry 9670, this smartphone will come as a clamshell phone, which is not actually the first from the manufacturer (as there’s the Blackberry Pearl 8320), yet it will come as the first device to run on Blackberry OS 6.0.

Unlike the Blackberry Pearl, the Blackberry 9670 looks a lot wider as it will flip to open to a QWERTY keyboard and a somewhat large screen with 360 x 480 pixels. We’ve known Blackberry for its usual form factor complete with a QWERTY keyboard, which is just the usual form factor for those seeking for business-oriented devices. Well, they’ve as well done a flip device on the Blackberry Pearl 8220, and now, the latest news is they would as well be having a slider phone.

Unannounced Blackberry Pearl 9100 Comes as Successor to 8100

The Blackberry 8100 is now getting a successor with the Blackberry 9100. This is also codenamed as the Blackberry Stratus or the Blackberry Striker; and based on deign, this sure is an even more interesting device than its predecessor since It looks slicker and more modern.

Just like most of RIM’s latest devices, this also comes with an optical trackpad instead of their usual trackball for navigation. It also doesn’t have a full QWERTY keyboard; rather, this has the SureType keypad for a somewhat easier texting, which is the same as with what Blackberry 8100 had. Rumors about the Blackberry Onyx have been floating around the web for quite some time now, and back in May, we’ve even seen it in a leaked photo. Now, another photo of what is believed to be the Blackberry Onyx 9020 has again surfaced, this time around, with a slight difference than its first leaked.

Leaked photos of the Blackberry Storm 2 have appeared all over the web, which actually started when some tipster sent it to Crackberry. It looks a lot like the Blackberry Storm but since this is a successor to the original, then let’s expect it to have some upgraded features.

The tipster said that this will have Wi-Fi support in addition to the GPS.
