The Asus P565 has been announced back in November as the device that holds the fastest CPU as per the date. But it seems like this is not anymore bound to happen as reports say that the Taiwanese company has dumped this device.

One of the rumoured reasons about this is the Garmin-Asus partnership. GPSandCo has also reported that it was due to make a debut in France last month, but it did not happened, and will actually never happen because of the said reason. It is also said that this is actually on sale in some markets, but there’s no official announcement on whether this phone is out or not, or…

The Garmin-Asus nüvifone G60 is obviously a teamed up device by a known GPS company, Garmin, and a computer manufacturer, Asus. Well, the partnership will actually produce a series of Garmin-Asus nüvifone, and the first to be introduced is this G60.

With that, you could easily say that this will be a high-tech handset which will of course center on turn-by-turn and voice-prompted navigation features.  It looks like this phone could be placed on the car for the use of that navigation feature, and then could easily be removed when you have reached the place, turning it into a mobile phone use.

Aside from that, this supports quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA connectivity…
