The Acer Liquid A1, which was released last year, is now getting a successor in this Acer Liquid e. I’m not sure what’s with the letter “e” addition to its name, but I guess it has to do with its latest OS as this Acer Liquid e will now be running on Android 2.1 or also known as the Éclair.

With the latest Android 2.1 OS, this Acer Liquid e should then have 5 homescreen pages, live wallpapers, improved web browsers and more. That’s actually the main difference that this Acer Liquid e has to its predecessor, and everything else remains almost the same.

This will have 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display…

Acer is gearing up for a yet another touch-screened device as they’ve recently announced the Acer BeTouch E200. There’s actually nothing much in this device, but it would surely be a very functional handset despite its loss in groundbreaking specs and features.

This BeTouch E200 will have support for quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS 3G network, and it will be powered by a 528MHz processor.

This will also have 3-inch WQVGA touch-screen display with 240 x 400 pixels, 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, music player, speakerphone, e-mail, and a memory card slot. Obviously, as what is seen on the photos available, this will have a slide-out alphanumeric keys. There’s going to be no Wi-Fi…
