Casio G’zOne Rock

The largest US mobile carrier, Verizon, has just announced their latest Casio device, the Casio G’zOne Rock. This is a rugged clamshell phone and it is perhaps the most functional Casio G’zOne model to date as it includes six operating modes designed for consumers with active lifestyles.

This actually features Triple Sensor technology which can operate in six modes, including: Earth Compass, which can find GPS distances for 40 places worldwide; Astro Calendar, which can show the number of days until a full or new moon; Sunrise Sunset, which can view the position of the sun and find the times for sunrises and sunsets for major cities; Tides, which shows tidal graph, times of ebb and flood tides, sea tide levels, graphs for 100 locations and the best time for fishing; Walking Counter, which keeps track of steps, time, distance, speed and energy consumption; and Thermometer, which measures the current temperature.

Now just like other rugged handsets, this can also withstand water, shock, dust, vibration, humidity, solar radiation, and extremes of temperature. This also comes with 2-megapixel camera with flash and video recording, touch-sensitive music controls, stereo Bluetooth, high-speed EV-DO, microSD card slot, and support for Verizon’s offerings.

Check this Casio G’zOne Rock at Verizon Wireless as they’re selling it for $199.99 with 2-year contract and after $50 mail-in rebate.

I dropped my G’Zone Rock in the toilet on accident and after fishing it out it literally set on fire. I had to be taken to the hospital with severe burns. Don’t buy it.
