Blackberry Tour

We’ve heard of the Blackberry Tour just about last month, and along with it are rumors saying that this phone will come to Verizon. Well, it looks like it is indeed bound to happen as Verizon replaced their Blackberry Tour teaser with a pre-order page of this handset.

This phone is presented as a “world phone,” so the name “Tour” makes a lot of sense. Travellers can access voice and data services abroad, so for the businessmen who constantly fly anywhere in the world would surely make a good use of this device.

Aside from that, this Blackberry Tour comes complete with multimedia features, including an enhanced media player, 3.2-megapixel camera with geo-tagging and video recording, high-speed internet browsing, and also support for social networking with sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Coming from Verizon, of course this will also have the VCAST Music with Rhapsody service and GPS with VZ Navigator.

Verizon is offering the Blackberry Tour for pre-order at $199.99 with a new two-year contract, and it will be available online and in-stores on July 12.
