We’ve first heard of the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 and M20 back in February and since then, rumors circulated all over about its release. A lot have already been waiting for these two devices, but they have been delayed again and again. Now, another rumor is saying that these handsets will be launched in Malaysia “within 30 days”.
The Nuvifone G60 is a linux-based device with 3.55-inch touch screen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, 3-megapixel camera, and 4GB of internal memory; while the M20 is a Windows Mobile-powered handset with 2.8-inch touch screen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, 3-megapixel camera, and 4GB or 8GB internal memory.
While there’s still no confirmation about that launch yet, it is also said that these phones will come in Singapore in August and in other Asian countries as well. Now Asians would have something to look forward to, and I guess North Americans and other parts of the world would as well want that (with hopes that everything will indeed come true, else we might just want to dump the news the next time it comes out).
