It first leaked in March, then in June at the Computex 2009 where it is believed to be released in September, and now, the Acer F1 is said to be gearing up for an October 6 release date. This is actually the “same date Windows Mobile 6.5 will go live globally.”
Other than its high-end design (though it looks a lot like other touch-screened devices anyway), this Acer F1 also comes with high-end features. It runs fast through a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM, and as said, with Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.
It is also equipped with 3.8-inch touch-screen display with 480 x 800 pixels, accelerometer, support for quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDA connectivity, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, and 5-megapixel autofocus camera.
As said, this is believed to come out in October 6 for a price of £295 or about $487.
