Acer has just announced four smartphones at the MWC 2010: beTouch E400, beTouch E110, neoTouch P300, and neoTouch P400. The former two run on Android OS while the latter two are running Windows Mobile OS.

We’ll first talk about the two Android smartphones. The Acer beTouch E400 is said to run on Android 2.1 OS and powered by 600MHz Qualcomm processor. Its features include 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, 3.2-megapixel camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, AGPS, 3.5mm headset jack, and Microsoft Exchange Server support.

This also has “smart Acer Lighting Behavior with smart LED lighting that flashes in different colors to let you know when a new message has arrived, if you missed a call or whether the battery is low.” The Acer beTouch E110, however, is an entry-level smartphone that runs on Android 1.5 OS. It has 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 3.2-megapixel camera HSDPA, GPS, social networking integration, and 3.5mm headset jack.

Next, we have the Windows Mobile-powered smartphones. The Acer neoTouch P300 and the Acer neoTouch P400 both run on Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Both seem to have the same features, though the P400 doesn’t come with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. These features include 3.2 touchscreen display (WQVGA for the P300 and HVGA for the P400), 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, AGPS, HSDPA, 3.5mm headset jack, Internet Explorer 6 Mobile with Flash, and Facebook Client.
