Acer is gearing up for a yet another touch-screened device as they’ve recently announced the Acer BeTouch E200. There’s actually nothing much in this device, but it would surely be a very functional handset despite its loss in groundbreaking specs and features.
This BeTouch E200 will have support for quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS 3G network, and it will be powered by a 528MHz processor.
This will also have 3-inch WQVGA touch-screen display with 240 x 400 pixels, 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, music player, speakerphone, e-mail, and a memory card slot. Obviously, as what is seen on the photos available, this will have a slide-out alphanumeric keys. There’s going to be no Wi-Fi for this smartphone, and it is probably one of its downfalls.
But interesting enough, this Acer BeTouch E200 is believed to come with low price. Still, we have no word yet on when Acer is planning to release this and how much it will be offered.
