With just a recent announcement of the Samsung Omnia II, Verizon Wireless is said to offer this phone in July and in a white color version. Samsung only announced a black version of this, so having a white option would really be a great idea.

As everything remains a rumor, you know for a fact that this handset is a high-end device that packs 3.7-inch AMOLED touch screen display with 400 x 800 pixels, Touch Wiz 2.0 user interface, and also with Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 720 x 480 pixels video recording, and is equipped with 2GB of internal memory.

Let’s hope Verizon Wireless…

Dutch Site Mobile Cowboys has received leaked image of what is believed to be Nokia’s rugged device, dubbed as the Nokia 3720. It is very seldom that Nokia comes up with rugged phones, and if this is true, then this should really be surprising.

This is also said to be Nokia’s first handset to meet the IP54 certification standard for dust, water and shock resistance. And since there are no rugged phones that are on a high-end (except for the iDEN phone that Motorola introduced a few years back), expect this to have the basic features of a phone. This is actually said to run on Symbian S40, so there’s really…

The Samsung M220 is actually not a new phone and it has already been released for Sprint sometime late last year; but this time, Canadians who are on a budget for a phone could now get a hold of this device as it is now available via Telus.

This entry-level device may not be that of a “big” news maker, but for those who are looking for a decent phone that will fit their budget, this will surely make a good buy. This clamshell phone has two screens, one is external and the other is internal; plus it also has speakerphone, Bluetooth, internet access, and instant messaging support.

These features should already be…

Virgin Mobile Canada is said to release the LG Rumour 2 and the Samsung Vice.

We’ve learned that the LG Rumour 2 has been around the web since March, and it was already announced for Sprint and Alltel, and just recently, for Bell Mobility as well; while the Samsung Vice, which we’ve heard back in April, is said to hit Bell Mobility. We’re not sure if these devices are already available under the said carriers, but the thing is Virgin Mobile will be releasing both handsets.

The LG Rumour 2 is believed to be a messaging-oriented device since it has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and an alphanumeric keypad. This will also have…

For the Canadians out there who always want to get in style, Rogers brings you the Nokia 7510 Supernova, which is a stylish clamshell phone that has already been available on T-Mobile for some time now.

This device features Nokia’s Xpress-On covers, letting you choose different colors of plate covers and even match it with your outfit. There’s also LED screen on the exterior, which shows the time when on, and when off, it would appear just like a solid-colored cover plate.

Aside from being a somewhat fashion phone, this also comes with decent low-to-mid end features. This will have Wi-Fi, and Rogers will plug it with their UMA TalkSpot Service for…

You might probably be familiar with some of these phones already; either you’ve seen them on trade shows or leaked images, but now, Samsung has officially unveiled four low-end devices, which would probably be boring for some after a few high-end Omnia devices has been announced just recently. We can’t blame you anyway since I bet a lot will really look after those high-end mobile phones that these.

But anyway, these phones are actually not a bad choice since their designs are quite similar to the high-enders. There’s the clamshell music-oriented Samsung M2310, which we’ve learned about back in April, featuring Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 3.5mm headset jack, FM Radio, Mobile Tracker,…

With the launching of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie just recently, LG has come up with a touch-screened device dedicated for the movie and for the movie fans as well. Actually, this is not a new device, and the choice of LG Versa for this movie tribute is actually ideal.

This device indeed has the transformer feel to it since it is “versatile” with a detachable QWERTY keyboard and game pad, transforming a simple touch screened device into a something. This customized LG Versa has a themed battery cover, showing Optimus Prime, the movie logo, and the release date.

This also comes with customized backgrounds, plus with a new startup and…

Two low-end devices have just been approved by the Bluetooth SIG, which are the Nokia 6790 Mako and the Motorola VE440 Cadbury. These devices are actually not yet announced, so that makes them semi-official as of date.

We’ve already heard of the Nokia Mako just a few weeks back when live photos of it surfaced all over the web. We’ve also learned from then that this would be a low-end device despite its rather high-end and weird looking design and despite coming as a smartphone, running on Symbian S60.

Obviously, this will be a messaging-oriented mobile phone since it comes with a landscaped QWERTY keyboard. It is also said to have QVGA display,…
